Tour Itinerary:

Day 1 – Airport transfers included.  Enjoy a get-acquainted dinner. Overnight:  Jackson, WY. (D)

Day 2 – Take a leisurely Snake River float trip through some of Grand Teton National Park’s most spectacular scenery and enjoy free time for shopping in Jackson. Tonight take horse-drawn covered wagons to a chuckwagon barbecue cookout. Overnight:  Jackson, WY. (B, D)

Day 3 – Visit the Colter Bay Indian Center before entering America’s oldest national park, Yellowstone National Park.  Today we’ll visit the famed Fountain Paint Pots, geyser basin and Firehole River, and of course, Old Faithful. Overnight:  W. Yellowstone, MT. (B)

Day 4 – We’ll resume our tour of Yellowstone National Park this morning with visits to Norris Geyser Basin, the Grand Canyon of the Yellowstone and Mammoth Hot Springs. Then we’ll head into Montana where we will visit St. Ignatius Mission which was built in 1891 by local native craftsmen.   Enjoy a sunset cruise on Flathead Lake.   Overnight at BW KwaTaqNut Resort in Polson, MT. Day 5 – A scenic drive through the National Bison Range begins another eventful day.  Today’s highlight is a ride over Glacier’s spectacular “Going to the Sun” scenic highway in a historic  red “Jammer” bus.    Overnight at Many Glacier Hotel in Glacier National Park, MT. (B)

Day 6 – Visit Head-Smashed-In, one of the oldest, largest and best-preserved buffalo jump sites in North America.  Visit Waterton Lakes National Park, a breathtaking mixture of prairie, forest, wetlands and mountain terrain. Overnight: Waterton National Park, AB. (B)

Day 7 – Travel to Great Falls, Montana  Learn more about the epic journey of the Lewis & Clark expedition at the outstanding Interpretive Center.  Visit the outstanding C.M. Russell museum, which showcases his iconic western works. Farewell Dinner. Overnight:  Great Falls, MT. (B, D)
