TOUR ITINERARY:

DAY 1 – ARRIVALS

Fly into Spokane Airport (GEG). We’ll enjoy a Spokane Foodies Tour and Gondola Ride over Spokane Falls, before a forty-five minute drive to our home for the next three nights, the Coeur d’Alene Casino and Resort. Enjoy a welcome dinner and show, “Mildred Bailey Returns” performed by tribal member, CeCe Curtis. Coeur d’Alene Casino and Resort. (L, D)

DAY 2 - NATIVE AMERICAN WILDLIFE & TRADITIONAL ARTS

This morning we’ll enjoy Majestic Encounters with an Eagle Aviary Tour and Lunch. After free time at the resort, we’ll participate in a Dinner & Lifeways Workshop, where we will “Build Your Own” Pendleton Bear. Coeur d’Alene Casino and Resort. (B,L,D)

DAY 3 - SUNSHINE & CIDER

Today’s excursion includes a Northwest Foodies Tour in the town of Coeur d’Alene (including Brunch). We’ll have free time to walk the boardwalk and/or shopping. Today’s highlight is a 90-minute Boat Cruise on Coeur d’ Alene Lake. We’ll cap this day with a Trailbreakers Hard Cider Factory Tour and Dinner. Coeur d’Alene Casino and Resort.  (Brunch,D)

DAY 4 - HISTORIC WALLACE, IDAHO

More history is in store for us today, as we depart the resort and head east to the historic Old Mission Cataldo - the oldest standing building in the state of Idaho. After our tour it’s off to historic Wallace, where we will take an underground tour of the Silver Mine, plus tour the Oasis Bordello, the Wallace District Mine Museum and the Northern Pacific Railroad Depot Museum. We’ll have time for lunch on your own and shopping downtown. At the BW Wallace Inn we’ll settle in and enjoy and wine and cheese social, before a Welcoming Dinner. We’ll end the day at the Six Street Theatre for an old time “Mellow Drama”. BW Wallace Inn.

DAY 5 - NEZ PERCE TRIBAL EXPERIENCE

Another tribal experience is in store for us today. We’ll depart Wallace for a morning drive to Lewiston where a very special program awaits us: “Hear the Echoes of our Ancestors” Jet Boat Tour on the Snake River presented by Nez Perce Tourism. After lunch on our own, we’ll check in to the Hells Canyon Grand Hotel where a Welcome Dinner awaits. Hells Canyon Grand Hotel, Lewiston, ID. (B, D)

DAY 6 - STEPTOE BUTTE & AUTHENTIC CULTURAL DINNER

On our return to the Coeur d’Alene Resort, we’ll view the history and beauty of Steptoe Butte and the Palouse Hills. This afternoon settle in to the resort for a final evening, highlighted by an authentic cultural dinner event. Enjoy Smoked Huckleberry Salmon, Venison Stew, Fry bread, Chef’s Choice Vegetables, green salad and New York Style Cheesecake with Huckleberry sauce (Huckleberries are very big in Idaho). We’ll cap our Coeur d’Alene cultural tour experience with a festive evening of live drum, song, dance and storytelling. Coeur d’Alene Casino & Resort. (B,D)

DAY 7 - DEPARTURES

Sadly we bid a fond farewell to our unique cultural adventure as we are transported to the Spokane Airport (GEG) for return flights. (B)
